Mods, I asked for the Beyhive's permission to do this. No one seemed to object, & if ANY STAN WAR erupts I will ask for thread to be closed.

Dear 4.
Let me just say that I put quantity over quality (for, you see, I don't care how much work is put into an album- it's about the cha-ching! I may not receive a penny of it, but I care about that more than quality anyway). You only sell 2 million in the album market? I'm going to judge you as a FLOP for no reason, even if I go on to judge other 2 million sellers as successes. You see, I'm inconsistent & hypocritical, but I just want to be like every other ATRLer to fit in trollalalalala.
You aren't dance/pop music, therefore you are a flop. Anything that is outside the box, experimental & mature is a terrible record. I only want the dance pop tunes, & I only want the hits. You provide me with neither, so as a bandwagoning pop fan, I can't possibly use you. I can't dance to you. It doesn't matter that you are the most substantial record of the year & that your creator put all of her being & energy into you. This album may be a result of her passion, but I don't care. Remember, sales > effort. In the future, your creator will have to jump on a bandwagon to compete with everyone, but when she does smash with dance-pop, I will criticize her for being a bandwagoner.
She'll never win.
2 million is a great number to sell, but because the singles performed poorly, it's a flop. It's only logical that single sales directly relate to album sales, like duh. Like, I'm gonna go listen to my ultra-amazing Hot Chelle Rae CD again. Like, the definition of Grammy-worthy!
Signed,
The Offices of Shadetire.
