It was an alright movie. There were jumps but I didn't think it was very scary.
PA3 should probably be #2 in terms of profit. (200 million WW, budget of 5 million)
Now that PA is a big franchise, you have to consider its marketing expences will be much bigger. The idea of this thread is flowed though. A film like say Harry Potter, will still be more profitable considering its huge box office.
The direction of the film is reasonable right up along with some strained scenes. Although I found the idea quite interesting, it was mishandled filling the movie with cliches. And from the mid of it the quality went downhill. I dislike this movie all the way.
Absolutely loved this movie. It was a lot better in the theater than at home though. I liked the first 2/3's of the movie the most, the last little bit was eeeeh. I really think they could have made something better out of it but great film anyways.
