Using codes for colors/font & images is a complete confusion. Even when you copy something it will convert the font to the forum's default and won't copy the images/font color as it is. We were able to do these things before the update,so?

As far as I know, there are many threads that have their own formatting for text. Of course the font itself wouldn't change but that's because you aren't using [*font=name*] or [*size=4*] is being used too often without being closed since if you aren't going to close it, why keep restating it? Iin general, I do think the formatting sticks and has always been like that but perhaps I'm not getting what you're trying to say. It sucks that it confuses you though since I doubt that's the intent

well, I actually made that post before the update, and when I tried to quote it .It came out encrypted in codes.

But what I really tried to say that if you remember before the update, when you want to insert an image ,you put the link and it will appear in the box instantly .The same when you choose a font or copy anything ,it will appear without the [!!] [/!!] codes.Now, You don't see the color or the font size changing ,you will only see your text between those codes. It may be easy-to-use if you're having a small post , but for larger posts with many images IT IS confusing as it looks in the post above.

Oh! I think I know what you are talking about now. I think that was the Enhanced Editor whereas now you can only use the Simple Text Box or the Rich Text Box. Even if it was not just the Enhanced Editor, I do get what you mean. However, I am sorry that I do not know how to help at the moment but I would suggest using the Preview feature so you can see how it looks for the time being.

Since we upgraded to vBulletin 3.5, the enhanced (what you see is what you get) editor has been causing problems. It was disabled because of the issues it had with screwing up the code output and leaving people with excess code in their messages.

Try to get used to the regular editor, and make sure to hit "Preview Post" or "Preview / More Options" to see what it will look like. When the next version of vBulletin comes out and we upgrade (which could be over a year from now) I might try bringing back the enhanced editor, but until then, don't count on it.
