That's what also crossed my mind, but c'mon! It's not that hard to even produce a show that to be increadably off the top, doesn't any guests, or lousy segments. It could just be the hosts (or maybe just one) simply introducing the countdown videos, while premiering a couple others. It's not that hard, and the costs to produce the show could be so minimal on MTV's wallet. They could maybe have the show created during the 3 days with less than 10 staff members, while the rest are doing the spring break thing.
