T.I.? Bleh. That guy has gotten like 5 First Looks on TRL since 2003, why don't they just give up? Those hardly ever guarantee a debut on the countdown. Relient K and Hawthorne Heights got lucky...Black Eyed Peas and Rihanna, yeah, because they're pop.
I miss when all bands/artists were treated equally when it came to a brand new video. Rob Zombie got a premiere once, so did his brother's band Powerman 5000. That was in 1999, a good year. Now, the rock music can't sound too heavy or too unique in order to get a premiere...anything flourished in pop is A-okay though...and if it's a First Look, it's not even 2 minutes long. Whoever came up with that idea is a f‘cking prick. The video can be rock, pop, rap, whatever, but come on, it deserves as much respect as any other video being shown for the first time does.
