Girls, the Trinity will always be Bey, Britney, and Gaga.
You can try to change it, but in the end who's grossing the most on tour? Who is getting those album sales again and again? Who has proven their influence?
Britney made these pop bitches just by existing.
Beyonce has become one of the most respected women of all time, let alone entertainers.
Gaga's bravery and boundary-pushing has taken the past 3 years by storm. I sure as **** saw a cube and a whip made of stuffed animals at the VMAs this year.
Rihanna has proven herself popular in small doses (re: no #1 albums, tons of #1 singles)
Katy has proven herself to be the queen of radio, and the queen of beauty apparently. She's seen as sexy, flirty, and fun. However, most of her songs have little substance (other than a select few). She's like a can of Pepsi.
Adele is a major force right now, but she's hardly pop. Most of her album sales are driven by the 25+ demographic, although she is certainly hitting young kids as well. However, she's doing fabulously and I have nothing but praise for her.
So sorry, but the Trinity is still Gaga, Bey, Brit. You tried though.

At me being able to click on Rihanna discography and Alexis Jordan discography on google in .2 seconds. Do you have dial up or something where it requires mass effort to look something up? Unlike you I like to be sure of what I'm talking about before I say things.
But I see you have no response to what I said. As expected because you've been proven wrong and not knowing what the **** you're talking about.
And you clearly don't know how the year-end charts work. Just because she's behind Adele doesn't mean she's necessarily the biggest. It just means she's charted more over the past year and they accumulate and add up all of that to determine the placement of the artists. Considering Rihanna has released almost double the amount of material as a lot of the other artists listed, it's almost expected that she would have an accumulative ranking that's higher. It's like comparing say Adele: who's only released one album and like two singles within the eligibility period. As opposed to Rihanna who has released two albums, at least like 10 singles since the beginning of the year as well as the collaborations she's been on that have charted also.
You're giving entirely too much. As you've been doing this whole thread. Congrats to Rihanna but you really need to calm down because you set yourself up for draggings.

Beyonce is more talented but her talent does not equate to being the most successful at the moment which is what this thread is about
