I kinda figured "Set Fire to the Rain" would be the last single, but Billboard has a way of get ahead of themselves. I wouldn't be surprised at a "Rumour Has It" release. But who knows? The label probably feel that this era is already huge and doesn't need any more push after its one year anniversary.

In that case they should relase a risky single, something different than RHI/TT IMO.
But yes, I would understand them if it is the last one..
SFTTR is at 17 on iTunes and it's coming to smash. AFter that, if BB is wrong I want them to take a risk and release One and Only as the next single. That or I'll Be Waiting.
What do you envision for your future, your next couple of years?
I'm really looking forward to some time to do nothing. I imagine I'll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven't even thought about my third record yet. I'm just gonna lay some concrete, set up home and just "be" for a bit. I'll disappear and come back with a record when it's good enough. There will be no new music until it's good enough and until I'm ready.

2 years from now. It is going to break Brit's record
I hope she doesn't vanish like others and let her hype die. She'll be 24 in 5 months though and that's only a few months more than a year after the release of 21. They should just keep releasing singles off of this one until she's ready to return. Could easily fill next year with SFTTR/RHI/TT and maybe something else.
I'd rather her wait until about Summerish/Fallish of 2013 to release a new album.. the more time put it into making something, the better the result.
Once the songs have been honed, Adele is incredibly quick in the studio. I remember Ryan Tedder saying the vocals for Turning Tables were done in ONE take and the vocals for RHI were done in TWO takes . She must be an absolute pleasure for any producer to work with....lots of early finishes
Quote:
Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote two songs on Adele's new disc, is a believer. He's still flabbergasted by watching her nail one of those songs, "Turning Tables," on the first take in the studio. "Rumour Has It" took two takes.
Tedder, who has written or produced songs for Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis, said Adele is "the single greatest female singer alive, period.
"I've worked with a lot of people," he said. "I've never, ever, ever seen or witnessed a singer do what she does in the recording studio."
Her label is gonna 'make her' release a Christmas album. I can just feel it. They made too much money and sold too many records to let one of their biggest artists fade. Columbia is one of those labels to push their artists when they bring back the success.

It's not long until Christmas, they better get her recording soon
I reluctantly agree. But she's feisty, you know, and fears no-one so good luck to them, lol. This is the girl, don't forget, who walked away from a big US tour in 2008 to spend time with her then BF in the UK.
