Anthony Hamilton has unveiled a new mid-tempo ballad featuring Keri Hilson called “Never Let Go” where he confesses that his love for a certain lady is beyond anything that he has ever felt before
.
The “Charlene” singer sounds silky smooth on the song, but for some unknown reason the soulful crooner seems like a fish out of water on the crank-inspired beat.

Hamilton who explained that “Never Let Go” was one of his favorite tracks, revealed how Keri landed on the single:

“[Songwriter Cri$tyle] took the chorus and made it not just an amazing melody, but she took it and made it a his and hers. Her voice reminds me of either Kelly Rowland or Keri Hilson. It just so happened Keri heard the song—I think it was a set up all along—she said she liked it a lot and she would love to do it.”

“Never Let Go” which was written by Cri$tyle and produced by Jerry Wonda will be featured on Anthony Hamilton’s seventh studio album “Back To Love” out on December 13th..

Ugh. They should have put Ledisi, Tamia or somebody who can SANG on this track. Anthony's gritty voice eats up Keri's light non-existent voice.

I was just listening to this for the first time, it's a cool mid tempo song but their voices don't blend that well together.

Though, I've been craving for a new Keri and finally got it.

shes in it. that's not the point. I don't care who's in it. It sounds exactly like Promise by Ciara.

I was thinking of "Promise" as well when I heard this. I never even realize how similar "Bed" and "Promise" were either.

It also sounds like Bed by J.Holiday. But Ciara came out with Promise before J.Holiday.

People have been recycling that Promise beat and getting away with it, it's a bit annoying.

Promise is such a classic
