I'm so torn about this. On one hand, Saw 3D was so terrible, especially after Saw 6, which was AWESOME. They could MAAYBE salvage the series, or they could just muck it up even more. Saw 3D really did a number on the series, imo. 
I think they should leave it.

Well ofc it wouldn't be the same. Jigsaw kind of... died. And Hoffman was doing a shotty job. We already knew this.
The lose ends it tied up made everything better.
I hope who the pigs where at the end is revealed in this new one (if it's happening).
