In the other thread, I said that when it comes to young people, when you steal from another young person, expect to get your ass beat. That is street smarts, everyone knows that.
Another street smart is that if a little kid steals from you, you don't beat their ass. That's a WHOLE different thing.
This is DISGUSTING, much more worthy of seething. I stopped it at 16 secs, because I knew where it was going and I didn't want to watch. SMFH.

There are billions of Chinese people. Generalizing is ignorant no matter what.
This is horrible and I do not agree with it at all, but it's part of their culture. If you do something bad, you get punished so you learn your lesson. Can we stop posting **** like this because all it does is make an entire culture look bad because of a few extreme people. The Chinese are actually quite nice and peaceful people.

It's a part of pretty much every culture, I'd say. The difference is that a lot of people (evidently) are shocked/horrified by the lengths which have been taken. Though yes, generalizing is never a good thing.

Well, it's normal to get beatings in China. In your home, at your school, and even outside. I don't necessarily think they're standing there for entertainment purposes, since they're all probably immune to seeing that. I think they just wanted to see if the boy will learn his lesson (not saying any of this is right though).
