Parents don't force their kids to listen Lohan like they do with Duff, because they think Lohan isn't a "saint" (oh yeah, of course) like Hilary.
And yeah, she's in the UK promoting her flop "Fly", which debuted at #20 on the singles chart.

I prefer Lindsay in movies but prefer Hilary in music. I still think that Lindsay is more talented than Duff in music tho because her second album was very deep & personal and very critically aclaimed, it's just that the songs aren't that catchy which is why it hasnt sold that much. Hilary's songs are just plain bubblegum fluff, but her songs are catchy so she sells. I used to like lindsay's music back in the 'speak' era but not a fan of her new stuff.

I love Lindsay Lohan even though she has made some mistakes and is using drugs. I think the problem with Lindsay is she hasn't gone on tour. People seem to think that because she has never toured this means the only way she can sing is with studio magic. The few appearences I have seen Lindsay haven't impressed me. Her backup singers have been louder than Lindsay which makes me question her live singing ability.

If Lindsay toured and proved that she could sing live I think her album would have done much better...as much as I love Ashlee I think Lindsay's album is a LOT better than I Am Me. But Ashlee gets more respect and credibility because she has proven she can sing live on tour.
