I think that people forget, when Britney was 'created' as an act the pop scene was kinda different, no-one probably expected her to be around this long and so vocals weren't considered as important as they are now. To still be going in her 30's and to be scoring top tens off her most recent album in the US I think deserves some praise...think of all her contempories who are now back working at Burger King. No one's forgetting anything. Britney CAN sing live. She barely tried. Criticism needs to be said. She gave good energy but her vocals were a mess.
And there was no 'creating' her. They tried to morph her into something she wasn't and she wasn't having that **** from day one.
