DVD-ing it. But it looks good; someone's trying their hand at originality in Hollywood for a change.

Just saw it, easily the best PG13 horror movie I've ever seen!

I just saw it today along with Larry The Cable Guy. LTCG was just terrible, and it looked really funny, but it was just dumb. Stay Alive isn't the best PG-13 horror movie, but knowing that it's Chad that made the comment, I understand. :-\ The movie was good, I liked the concept of the video game and all but it all fell apart at the end where they tried to end it and it just fell short because I was like,
*SPOILER* how the ---- did Frankie Muniz come back to life?? And then like the nail coming out of her forehead, how stupid was that. I was laughing throughout like half of the movie. I thought it was hysterical when October was about to get killed and then she said as her final words "Go --- Yourself". I was laughing so hard .
I guess if you liked it Chad then so be it, but if you haven't seen a lot of PG-13 horror movies then I understand that you (not directly toward Chad) wouldn't know which are best and which aren't. The Ring and Cry Wolf were much better.

I'm a horror movie fanatic, I probably own more than you have seen.
I liked this much more than The Ring, The Grudge, When A Stranger Calls, Cursed and so many more PG-13 horror movies. (Cry_Wolf was NOT a horror movie, Psychological Thriller is more like it.)
While I love all of those movies (Except The Ring), this movie just had something about it.
The actors were really good, the storyline was great, and I just loved it. October was my favorite character out of the bunch.
Unlike most PG-13 "horror" movies, it didn't need anything more explicit to spice it up. I mean some of them get so boring you want more things to happen. This had a nice pacing to it, and I actually liked the characters (Except October's Brother).
Its one of the better movies I've seen this year (Behind FD3)

I saw all those listed . And I REALLY liked the Ring, I thought it was scary and it didn't even need to make sense for it to be good, that's how good it was.
The Grudge was bad, but you probably liked it because of Sarah Michelle Gellar... Try watching the original one with English subtitles that was originally made in Japan and tell me how you like it.
Cry Wolf was a horror movie Chad, how the hell is that psychological?
Oh and I loved October's brother, lol. Cursed was really good, I must admit, it was pretty freaky. When A Stranger Calls was a cheap remake, blah.

Horror movies involve people getting killed, the only person to be mudered was Becky (And Bon Jovi if want to count that).
Its psychological because of the real motives behind what was going on. If you really pay attention you see they do hint at it being Dodger the whole time. But they dont confirm it until she says theeebst line in movie history, haha
"Even if that were true...., who would believe you?"
That gets me everytime!

Yeah that was an awesome movie. It didn't get recognition. Cry Wolf was one of the best last year. When I saw it the day after it came out, like practically no one was there. The end of that movie was fantastic. I could go on and on about how much I love Cry Wolf, it was just great. Glad we agree on something!!!

i saw it today, along with
"The Hills Have Eyes" *sneaked in*
"She's The Man" *sneaked in*
It wasn't really scary. It tried to scare you though. If you scare easily then you'll be creeped out of your mind. if you're the type, like me, to just like to watch horror movies and if it really scares you, you jump a few times and scream. It was a really good concept. I wanted October to live, she had to trip like 500 times before getting trapped (exaggeration). The funniest part is when Frankie Muniz was playing the game, but the Elizabeth lady came anyways although he didn't die, and he was like
"That's cheating bitch, I didn't die!"
Loved it. Oh Will he came back to life because he was surrounded by the wild flowers which keep the ghost away and he didn't really die. btw, i thought it was stupid too that he got back up. i wanted those bitches to die b/c they were too stupid to listen to each other.

The movie is Creppy, The casts were a bit weaks, except Swink(Frankie Muniz). Like Unique said above, my favoriate quote from this movie is "That' cheating bitch, I didn't die !!!" Basically if you play, one way or another you will die ..... FREAKKY....
I give this movie a B+ for the original idea, the side effect, and some funny lines.
Question: "Why those ghosts affraid of the roses???"

Back to what Will and Chad said, sort of...
Cry_Wolf>When a Stranger Calls>Texas Chainsaw Massacre>Hide and Seek>Grudge>Exorcism of Emily Rose>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ring Two
BTW, I totally agree with Chad. Cry_Wolf was DEFINITELY a thriller, not a horror, although I don't know about the psychological part.
BTW, When a Stranger Calls was not a horror, it was a Thriller/Suspense Movie
**OH, AND BY THE WAY, IF YOU'RE GONNA POST SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE MOVIE, PLEASE BE SMART LIKE WILL AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE TYPING SPOILERS. I SAW A FEW POSTS, BUT THEN I FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENS AT SOME POINTS IN THE STORY, WHICH REALLY PISSED ME OFF! THANKS GOES TO WILL, HOWEVER, AS I SAID, FOR ANNOUNCING THAT THERE WOULD BE SPOILERS!**

Okey-Dokey,
Last Night, I was able to see this movie (via a person downloading the ******* @ his house). I liked it, even though I am a scardy cat about horror movies. ~~ BUT! Wow, were there problems with the story. There was a lack of logic in those characters, and the director. S.A. had an excellent plot, but it was poorly executed.

The DVD is gonna have 15 minutes of extra stuff in the Directors Cut. I'm sure its gonna tie up all the plot holes.
