MTN is good song... ok nothing more... but why is everybody talking about promo "she need promo" and stuff like that... Why Gaga's singles need so much promo? ... Singles dosent need any promo to smash... for example Rihanna's singles. YDO will smash with no promo, and WFL smashed so hard without promo, goes #1 everywhere. So the question is why she need so much promo to make single do good but not smash? only song that smashed from album was BTW.

Doubt it will happen this month. Maybe towards the end or the start of New Years. It will be a slow climb, but the song will get there.

Rihanna and Gaga are in two different fields. If Rihanna released Born This Way, I doubt she would see 500k WW. Airplay and digital success have been on Rihanna's side because that is the main purpose of Rihanna. Her sound is made to go to the top. Gaga....not so much. At least not this go round.

Not to make excuses for Gaga but Rihanna is on her 1st and 2nd single while Gaga is on her 5th. You cant compare the two.

She has to do lots of promo because her songs are not tailor-made for radio. It's been this way almost her entire career. She had to perform at ever gay club in America for six months before "Just Dance" ever got played. The examples you gave from Rihanna are destined for radio spins. When you make different, interesting pop like Gaga, you kinda have to shove it down people's throats so things can get moving

After today, it's very likely. And it would be such a same for her two best singles to be her worst-performing ones.

Do not compare Just Dance with Marry the Night. Gaga was unknown when that was released.
I think it's You and I that slowed the down the momentum of this album thus most people stopped checking at her. It should have been the last single.
