"Single" only has the potential to be a lukewarm hit. Risking releasing "I Bruise Easily" would have been a much better bet.

Definitely not one of the better tracks on the album (should've gone with something that wasn't released overseas), but probably has a better chance at becoming a hit.

'Single' has a great chance of going Top 10, it will give Tasha a chance to further establish herself with radio, going for something slower at this stage, just wouldn't work, though saying that 'I Bruise Easily' would make the perfect track to 'wind' the album down. i can see 'Single' attracting new fans far more readily than 'IBE' ever would do

Interestingly looking at Tash Bed's chart runs for here in the UK, it was 'These Words' which really broke her in:

I really think The One That Got Away would have been the best US single at this point. Single is just too...I don't know...it doesn't seem like something I can imagine being at hit here at all.

I didnt think Unwritten or These Words would be a hit either...but I think Single will do pretty good. Those songs were really catchy and liked them a lot but I was surprised when they got big... so Single has a pretty good chance since it has a good melody and chorus.

I'm not surprised by most of your reactions. No one thought "Unwritten" or "These Words" could be hits. Now once again, most of you are doubting "Single" and still insisting that "I Bruise Easily" is released. You're either far to pessimistic or you just don't give a damn if she has another hit or not, you just want her to release a song that you like (which makes no sense, but okay).

Anyway, if "Single" becomes a hit (which will happen), you can expect it to open up a slot for a 4th single, hopefully the amazing "The One That Got Away" which has the potential to be enormous.
