-Signing In : it's always irritating when they ask you again to sign again what is it auto sign out? every time you click something?
-Searching : I hate somehow on browsing!!!

I was going to say the same about the logging in, everytime I move away from the site and come back I have to re-sign in. Perhaps it's because I'm away for a certain amount of time? I know that happens on a number of other boards and where if you're inactive on a site (e.g. you stay on one page) for too long you're logged out as well.

That's the only thing I've noticed though, haven't tried to post pics and I'm not sure what s/he's saying about searching so...

Logging in doesn't seem to be a problem for me. Do you not click "Remember Me"? That might be why you can't stay logged in.

I do like the new design but after 3 years of using the old one, i kinda got used to it lol, i just need some time to adjust.

Try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files/cache (from Tools -> Internet Options -> in the Temporary Internet Files section Delete Cookies and Delete Files). That should help.

Yep, I've tried that to no avail. Perhaps it's because I'm in Firefox, the same happens to me on a couple of other sites whereas it doesn't in Explorer, although, TC used Firefox too... Before though, it used to just stay signed in even if I closed the browser, until I manually logged out.

I use Firefox, and I had problems with staying signed in after the upgrade to vBulletin 3.5 a couple of months ago. But after I completely cleared Firefox's cookies and cache, it's been keeping me signed in just fine. I think this happened because the cookies stored on your computer way back from the vBulletin 3.0 forum aren't recognized correctly by vBulletin 3.5. Also, after clearing your cookies and cache from Firefox's options, make sure that the setting to keep cookies is "until they expire," not until you close Firefox.

But I clear the cookies and cache everyday...

Yeah, even I use Firefox and the problem doesn't occur for me. It only occurs in IE which is why I suggested deleting cookies and cache using IE but in general if that doesn't help, i don't know what would other than what has already been stated.

Are those files the only internet files besides to "clear history?" Just curious. I never saw the point in that?

Well, it seems obvious, but if you clear the cookies every day, the site will forget you're signed in every day. Every time you clear the cookies, you've also cleared out your session on ATRL.

As I said in my first post on the subject, it logs me out everytime I navigate away from the page. Not just when I clear out everything at the end of the day.

It also happens if I open a new browser or tab and look at it or if I'm inactive on a page for something like 20 minutes. It happens in both IE and Firefox, whereas before I used to be able to switch intermittently and it didn't affect it.

Well I'm stumped then. From what you've said, you're doing everything that you should be doing, and it should be working exactly like it is for me.

It's been a long time since my last log-in to ATRL and this new design took me by surprise. Give me a week and I'll get used to the new layout.

Why does Lee!'s avatar keep appearing below my (and other peoples) posts? I don't think this is affecting everyone because i signed in using Firefox and it was fine.
Anyone help me?
