well dam u know ur facts lmao .... Janet has to be 1 of the most awarded artists in the industry altho people act like she didn't accomplish **** lmao
The way people talk about her on some music forums you'd think she was a newbie Whitney hasn't had a hit since the late 1990s, and has done nothing but crack, put on bad performances and overall bizare behavior throughout the 00s and she never gets treated the way Janet does.
DEATH @ Damita Jo selling close to 400K (380K) in 2004 but was/is considered a flop -- but the girls sell 270K and people applaud ha and say 'Well its not 2000 anymore'.

Whitney is the most awarded female.
Janet and Mariah follow her more than likely.
People act like she didn't accomplish anything because they let those last three albums distort their perception of reality. When they get schooled or eventually see the light, they'll ease up and give credit where its due.

Reba stayed relevant and topped the charts for 30 years. Her longevity speaks more about her than a slew of awards. Which he mantel is filled with. The award shows now are very different with cross over acts. She received nominations for the AMAs from 87 - 2009. From 1987 - 1996 she won at least 1 award. 2004 was her last win. Show me longevity with Taylor and that will impress me more than a handful of wins.
