She lost some fans, and gained some new ones. It's impossible for this not to happen. Even if she had produced THE FAME 2.0 many people would not have bought the album because it would sound too much the same. I do this all the time... buy an aritsts first album, and then they come out with a second that sounds too similar and I have no interest in picking it up. Adele will have this issue her next album if she doesn't do something different.
