The term is stupid. Gay men are not accessories and some women treat them as such, proud to show off their new gay best friend like a new purse she purchased at the local mall.
I think it's redundant that some women actively seek out gay men to be friends with, and even more redundant that some gay men allow themselves to be blatantly used.

EX-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-CTLY!
I've had women I know say to me, "Oooh. I want a gay best friend" as if a gay man is a pet or new pair of shoes.

Exactly, even though I think some gay guys don't really mind being used.
I have a friend who is gay, and he's totally fine with it....it doesn't bother him one bit.
And I'm not saying all women who are "*** hags" is like that. But some will try to make a gay male feminine even if he isn't. They'll try to drag you to go shopping with them and assume that just because you're a gay male then you must know everything about fashion. Some will even try to make their gay friend go to salons for manicures and pedicures and will assume just because he's gay that he would like doing such things.

Girl, if you don't get the **** out of my face.
My favorite is when they ask me to go shopping with them and **** and I'm like "Sis, if that ain't slang for sparking a joint imma need you to **** right off." As if I give a **** what clothes my female friends are wearing.
