I actually think that the scene is alluding to Rape.
She clearly has a black eye when she is being rolled into the hospital room, and the nurse washes a wound on her back, which wouldn't be there from an abortion.
Rape can be violent, and thus might be the reason why she couldn't be intimate for 2 weeks.
It also fits with what she told Rolling Stone, which was that her mother rushed to her apartment and took her to the hospital...
