BR isn't even that untoppable. It's just a winning mix of Gaga looking good and rocking high fashion, of great editing/pacing and of the images successfully capturing the spirit of the song. That's why this era has been so frustrating. It's not THAT hard to top her past work. And look at her competition. They all have so many weak points. With the right guidance she could have blown them all away.
it's not hard at all - she could do it with scheisse, but that's the thing - i had hoped she'd do it with MTN. she easily could've, but chose not to, chose to be the director and do some french indie film tribute instead.

I want her to explain to me... what was the point of the French subtitles. It wasn't there during the hospital scene... but all the sudden they pop up. What value do they provide for the video?
