UK has better dance, indie , rock, and soul/real r&b music, while the US pop is still better, because luckily in the US aren't any crappy boy band like in the UK
UK's music scene is more eclectic and diverse and it seems like a lot of new music trends (sounds, fashion etc.) start in the UK or Europe and then cross over to US like months or years later lol.
UK all the way. No one from the US even comes close except for Gaga, Rihanna, Gwen, and Britney. Madonna too, I suppose, but she has producers from all over the place.
