-CMA's are voted by a committee, the country industry folks.
-ACA's are fan voted and a new country award shows... this will be the 2nd year.
-Next year around April will be another country award show called Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM's). Voted by country industry folks too. Expect for New Artist and Entertainer, those two are fan voted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, will Carrie and Brad be hosting these shows again? I can't at those country awards show. The winners are sometimes the same and I thought these awards shows are treated interchangeably.

No, they're not hosting! The ACA hosts will be Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins. I saw this award show last year and it was a hot mess, lol. Kelly was there; she wasn't nominated nor did she performed, she was just sitting next to Reba and her manager during the show.

And Reba usually hosts the ACM's. Last year Blake Shelton co-hosted with Reba. Carrie and Brad co-host the CMA's.

I didn't realize MKIA was still doing so well on UK airplay.

I would love to say she has a great chance of winning but the grammys are such a load of crock now. They'll probably pull another Esmeralda Spalding and give it to BH or AYGKMON.

Tomorrow is the Phineas and Ferb special the premiere of the xmas song

Based on the songs up against her, the only massive hit was Thompson Square. However, their other singles have pretty much flopped. The Civil Wars are critically acclaimed and I believe Kenny Chesney has been nominated a ton of times, but has never won a Grammy. However, it peaked at #3.

MKIA rose to #16 on the Hot 100 this week! This one's gonna linger.
