The Isthmus of Panama is very new (geologically speaking) so North and South America are most certainly two distinct continents, that had very distinct fauna until Panama came into existance , and now there is a Canal.
Europe is the fake continent, nothing more than a big penninsula of Asia.
Also, whoever voted Antartica is either a liar or has a great story to tell.

North America... is a continent wholly within the Northern Hemisphere and almost wholly within the Western Hemisphere. It is also considered a northern subcontinent of the Americas.[2] It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the southeast by South America, and to the west and south by the Pacific Ocean.

You both win.
Most citizens of the United States and Europe consider North and South Americas to be separate continents.

Only Latin America and Spain consider America to be a single continent.

So the 'Western World' is only America? The biggest part of Europe is on the east side of the World Map.
Why is the Far East even called that way?
It's all relatively speaking, sis.

Just that it's connected to each other doesn't mean it's one continent. With this logic it'd mean that Europe, Asia and Africa are one continent too.
Culture is really important when it comes to dividing continents, but let's just keep it this way that some girls learned it otherwise than the most of us did

North America, but it SHOULD be America...
As far as I know, Australia isn't a continent.
It's Oceania that includes Australia, New Zeleand, all the islands, etc...

Also, Greenland belongs to Denmark -> Europe.

There is no continent called America. There are two distinct geological entities: North and South America, which ostensibly sit on two separate continental plates.

The long ass debate on whether North and South are just the same. Every geography books will tell you that South and North are separate American continents.
I'm from Asia.
