He's an actor (Community [TV], Mystery Team [Film])
He's an artist (Mixtapes, EPs, and his debut album, Camp, outsold whoever these other guys are)
Maybe one day, his music *****.
Camp is a great album. You See Me is one of the best rap songs of the year
Besides he's very 'mainstream' in terms of acting/writing success.
His tour and mixtapes were very successful.

Justin Bieber is mainstream, has Usher to back him, and is a SOLO artist, nobody is here for groups anymore.
Hot Chelle Rae? Gym Class Heroes? Maroon 5? Foster the People? Cobra Starship? Lady Antebellum? That's just off the top of my head. Most of those aren't one-hit wonders either...
