It's good to see he's finally getting the recognition he deserves in the US, no matter how old the song is in Canada.. it's been played out since last summer here :P
I want to shoot / strangle myself everytime I hear this song now.
I work in an office - and in Ontario - naturally, the station of choice is CHUM FM (Hot AC)
Needless to say, this song was butchered to no end.
And to see it having a revival now is almost painful.
American Idol definetly had something to do with this song blowing up. I like it though, even though when i heard it i couldve sworn it was an old song from the 80s. I guess thats why i recognized it.
