Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has retained his title of the richest British star under the age of 30.

The 22-year old actor has topped Heat magazine's 30 Under 30 Rich List, with his earnings being estimated at a cool £51.7million - giving him an increase of £6.1million on last year.

His work on the Harry Potter franchise is thought to be the main source of his income, with Heat claiming that Radcliffe pocketed a whopping £25million for The Deathly Hallows films alone.

Actress Keira Knightley was second on the list with £30.8million, while Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson moved up two places to third position with £24.9million.

Radcliffe's Harry Potter co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint slipped to fourth and fifth place, while Cheryl Cole was the list's biggest mover, jumping from No.14 to seventh place with an estimate fortune of £11.4million.

Despite being sacked from The X Factor USA, Chezza's earnings are thought to have been helped along by deals with cosmetic giant L'Oreal and de Grisogno jewellery.

Adele, Florence Welch and Taio Cruz also made their debut in the list, while the likes of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Nicola Roberts and Craig David have all increased their earnings based on last year's figures.
