You're right, they are excuses.
It doesn't matter if her music is "there", that's the most nonsensical argument I've heard. There are plenty of artists that have albums out but can't sell either due to their label or their lack of one. What do you want her to do, book performances for herself?
RCA didn't let her release the album, or the singles she wanted to, nor did they back her up properly when she gave in. She made this clear way before we even had an idea of how well What the Hell would do.
That makes me so happy. I just hope this is a huge comeback now she has label support and cool to know she's working with new people as well. I still hope there's some entirely self written songs on it. I hope there's still some Alex Da Kid songs too. I hope WYWH finally becomes successful so she can finish this era on a high. I need UK and US X-factor performance.
