Basically this isnt cheating or a bad thing... this albums were shipping to the shops, so in the next 2months they will be selling for sure. Selena's Christmas selling was always very strong.
They did the same thing to HD with Dignity, except the album stalled at around 430k in the US. At least Selena is on track to pass 500k in like 5 weeks.
I can't wait until she announces her extended tour. Although I wish she held her tour off for now, focused on the new album and also had time to record those movies. Because she wont have time to work on her album and I wanted a late 2012 or early 2013 release she could've just toured after her new one was released. She better come Europe though.
She definitely has time to record a new album & release by late 2012.
Girl, Hilary Duff shot 2 films while recording her self-titled album. Raise Your Voice from late January - mid March & The Perfect Man from mid April - mid June 2004. She recorded until late August & released the album in September.
Not to mention, Selena recorded AYWR within like two months. She can definitely write and record another album even if she shot three movies next year back-to-back and release it by November.
