Does anyone feel like that Young Money is holding back Ms. Maraj? It seems like these days she doesnt try hard with her verses or collabs with fellow YM artist... And she is being tacked onto these poor Hip-Hop collabs (Birdman), etc. I feel like Nicki goes a lot harder on her collabs with other artist (Kanye w/ Monster, Big Sean w/ A$$, Keyshia Cole w/ I Aint Thru").

I feel as though they''re holding her back from her true potential. Thats why I think if perhaps Onika left Young Money and dare I say, teamed up with Kayne or Jay-Z instead, it would be an overall improvement. The promo, the production, etc.

Not to say we can totally just **** on Wayne and YM... They did get her to where she is today and helped launch her career... But she needs to innovate and move on.. Sometimes its hard to say goodbye, but like Laurianne & Gaga, its time to move on.

I never got her appeal tbh. But yeah I think she has more potential in the Pop field.... along with collabs with different artists. Her label is holding her back by making her do all these features on their records.. same goes for Drake. I don't understand why he did a song with Birdman on his album and I have a feeling he doesn't want to keep giving us these Lil Wayne songs cause he seems like the type that doesn't like to over-saturate with his music but has to do that with Wayne because he's loyal.

Drake and Nicki need to leave this record label. Drake should form OVO Records and Nicki Minaj should form Pink Friday records and ditch this mess.

I don't think they're holding her back from her true potential. She has a #1 Platinum album, #3 smash hit and a legion of overzealous stans under her belt. She's doing fine under Young Money.
