With my computer being broken and my sister's computer being SUPERIOR to mine's (It's able to watch youtube videos) I decided to watch a lot of videos. T-Pain, DC3, Fort Minor, ect. I watched a lot of Destiny's Child's live performances, and something came up when I heard them sing together.

I think Kelly is by far the weakest singer of the group based off what I'm hearing. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmDYa...20performances)

In that video, (Stand Up for Love; Live on Jimmy Kimmel) after Michelle's verse; the camera is right by her, and you can clearly hear HER singing in falsetto and I know it's how they harmonize (See the NBA 06 all star Star Spangeled Banner Performance) but Kelly is off key (or it seems) for most of the notes until the "And no one will be left behind" part of SUFL.

Beyonce and Michelle are usually on point in their vocals, but something about Kelly harmonizing in Falsetto has ALWAYS turned me off DC3, and now I sorta miss when there was a fourth girl.

When there was a fourth girl (they are missing the Alto they once had in LaTavia, right?) you wouldn't hear Kelly singing in falsetto behind Bee's vocals, LToya would do it because she has the strongest falsetto in the group (not counting Bee) but now Kelly does it and it annoys the hell out of me and I've been on a few DC3 boards so I know I'm not alone.

It seems like she's damaging her voice. i just wanna know; has anyone ELSE noticed Kelly butchering songs with her sharp, off-key falsetto? i dont wanna hear any complaints about this post, hopefully you understand it's not an attack on her.

hmm interesting fact..im gonna check it out myself but good observation..if you didnt point this out, i would never have thought that kelly was the worst singer in the group..

I'm talking about how sometimes why the three are harmonizing, Kelly sings in falsetto and it's annoying and obvious sometimes.

I guess it's just their style of singing. Nevertheless, all 3 girls are steller singers. And their harmonies are always on point

Wow I absolutely love that performanced and they all - yes, all - even the usually disgusting Kelly - look gorgeous and classy (a first for Kelly)

Kelly is, has been, and always will be my favorite of that group.

She had the best solo album, she has a fun personality, shes the best actress, and I like her voice the most.

Its not as good live tho.


And random, but I dont' like the echo effect in Beyonces mic at the end.

I think their harmonies are great and I LOVE Kellys voice.

I don't find her likeable at all. I really can't stand her and I never liked her at all. I do like the song Stole but I really just think she's overrated - especially when anyone tries to say she's better than Beyonce. She just looks so skanky, trashy, and UGLY when she's trying to be sexy in the Cater 2 U video and since then I've hated her as opposed to disliking her. And yes that's shallow but she ruins the group for me.

She ruins the group for me too. I think it was because of that Dark and Lovely commercial and the fact that she is blacker then Wesley Snipes.

Kelly is way better than beyonke!!

Two words. Simply Deep.

Kelly does have the weaker voice in DC3. Sometimes she can sound good live like at the All-Star Game but most of the time she ----s it up vocally for the group. I think she needs to take some time off and really work with a vocal coach and sharpen her falsetto and voice and find that confidence that you need in order to be a great singer. I'm also tired of people sayin she's betta than B when the truth is she's NOT. B can sing and dance laps around her, PERIOD!! I do love Kelly tho and she's the only dark skin girl who is beautiful to me (yes, I'm brown skinned), but facts are facts. She has improve greatly from her solo era but she has a long way to go. Simply Deep sucks and is the worst solo album from DC...so I can't wait to hear her new cd and hopefully she'll show off some range. Like I've been sayin that its do or die time for Kelly.

I don't have a problem with their voices, I think they've sounded great together.

My only problem with them was their "last" television performance together on Jimmy Kimmel. I thought they should've done it on a much better show. - (Such as something primetime on BET or MTV)

Kelly is an AWESOME singer. And I think it is EXTREMELY unfair for you, and Nick, to boast your opinions about how you guys think Beyonce is better than Kelly as if it where fact. Many people do believe that Kelly is the better, and... so what? Don't get upset over it!

Their harmonizing is always good, and really it doesen't matter considering they're still the best selling girl group of the new mill.
