Judas isn't just about bad boyfriends, guys. There's so much symbolism within the verses. Judas along with Bloody Mary are the greatest songs she's ever written.
The metaphor of Judas has been beaten to death by many artists. Her perspective in TEOG and the story behind it is something fresh and moving that people dont immediately relate the lyrics too unlike the simplistic Judas. The lyrics to TEOG are few, but the few evoke much more emotion and show off innovation.
