Britney is snubbed because the content and the lyrics to her music are

.... Britney and Rihanna's albums mainly lack a real message for the public.Blackout & Rated R were well produced but the lyrics(Sex,Paparazzi,guns,..) werent what the grammys was looking for.
There is no surprise to see Beyonce with her female anthems or Gaga & Aguilera with their gays anthems being somewhat more respected.

Many pop singers forget that music is more than just the beat.

When Britney came to Jive they were trying to come up with the perfect sound for her so she would be big. During the time Bubblegum pop was big and they were looking for that blonde pop star with the cute voice. And Britney's real voice was deep and bluesy and sort of like Toni Braxton. And I never said her label forced her into not singing, she choose not to sing because it was hard for her to sing and dance at the same time. Beyonce & Gaga, sing in there natural voice and sometimes dance at the same time and don't have a problem at all.

She sings silent night again in her Jive voice.

I don't think ^"best vocal perf" rewards the best vocals out of the nominees, I think it rewards the best song out of the best vocals perfermonces in the year. And in that regard JT ******* on xtina. He made one of the best albums of that year, I could have been mad that he jacked my fave to the fullest but he did a brilliant job at it so I can't knock him.

As much as people keep saying it, I don't think it has anything to do with her material. Britney got plenty of nominations for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album back in the day. It's really about whether or not the voters like you (why else would Beyonce constantly be nominated for live versions of old songs?) and at this stage in Britney's career, they clearly no longer do.

Britney was a brunette when she was signed. And her voice is not that deep.

American award shows as a whole have always been shady towards Britney. Which is the majority of them come from other countries. The VMAs are slow as hell especially when looking through the categories she was nominated in and seeing who she lost to. It makes no sense.
