Congratz, but let's not act like she's doing amazing numbers, because we can't compare Gaga to Beyonce's special.
If I remember correctly, both of Beyonce's Thanksgiving came out when she wasn't promoting new music, and those specials weren't themed and recorded ESPECIALLY for Thanksgiving.
For Beyonce's Thanksgiving, ABC got them ratings using a ****ing released DVD, this time they produced something completely new and themed around that special date, they even teased MTN video.
GET THAT PROMO!
Put Beyonce on a special stage, to be aired ONLY on ABC, and you will get to know the real meaning of the word "ratings".

I refuse to believe the show got as much ratings as it did because she teased the MTN video.. in the credits.

Why so pressed? If this were Bey pulling in ratings like this, you'd be quick to shut down anyone trying to rain on your parade. If you can't be happy about this, then just shut the **** up.
Anyways, I'm glad that it got so many viewers. It's something that really shouldn't have been missed.

I loved this special, it really showed a more down to earth part about her, not to mention how classy she looked.

One Christmas song was sang dearie, so I do not understand the plurality in your word "songs."
Also, many start playing Christmas music around Thanksgiving time.... ESPECIALLY the day after.
