Vocals slayed. Her look was gorgeous. The setting was alright. Overall it was a great performance nothing more nothing less. Her look was obviously toned down for reasons its not rocket science.. what did you expect a turkey dress with a stuffing hat?
Hopefully the special will get good viewership tonight.

Anything below 5 and a half million viewers would disappoint me honestly... The promos have been playing on ABC constantly so I think it'll do fine. I asked my parents if they knew about it and my mom said, "yeah, at 9:30?"
I have to say, I think the MTN Thanksgiving performance is vaguely embarassing. It's just so naff, like something Mariah Carey would do. Sure, she sings it well, but the bland camerawork and setting is so cheesy. The outfit does nothing for her either. Yes, it makes her look "glamourous", but it merely draws attention to the fact that she's not a beautiful girl. She's far more striking when she's not trying to appear "pretty".
I'm really not interested in this "family friendly" GaGa. It's not why I became a fan.

while I too would love to see "Gagas Gothic Thanksgiving, directed by Tim Burton", it probably wouldn't do much to gain her new fans.

I wasn't expecting that at all. She could have remained fully clothed, but dressed in something a little more "GaGa". My point is merely that I expect something DIFFERENT from the usual thanksgiving stuff, and that hasn't happened.
Now chill out. It's just someone else's opinion. I didn't intend to turn your fragile little world upside-down.
I freaking loved the Thanksgiving MTN performance. I loved the glamorous look. She looked ****ing gorgeous and...normal. And also that will let everyone focus more on her vocals, which were 100% on point! I actually think she should stick with the more natural look. Judging anyone who didn't love it.

I'm not really into the whole idea of her constantly trying to win over people who don't like her though. If people don't like GaGa, then she shouldn't bother chasing them. She could also run the risk of losing the fans who prefer her dark and wacky side.
