"Look At Me Now" by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes tops the 3 million mark in digital sales this week. It's Brown's third song to reach this plateau, following "Forever" (3,461,000) and "No Air" (a duet with Jordin Sparks, 3,347,000). This means it's Brown's first song to achieve this plateau since his 2009 assault of then girlfriend Rihanna put his reputation with his fans in serious jeopardy.
"Look At Me Now" was a top 10 hit on the Hot100, but it really scored in the R&B field. It topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for eight weeks. "Look At Me Now" is the 11th song to top the 3 million mark so far this year, which puts 2011 just one smash behind 2010 for the most 3 million-sellers in a calendar year. And we've still got six weeks to go in this chart year.
