Hmmm. I suppose that's up for debate. I think that the songs were just 'too produced' to really be successful on radio, even if people want a Gaga ballad.

Also, I don't think HU R2L is filler. It's a good song that suffers from Gaga's inability to successfully allow her ideas to transcend to the music.

Perhaps it's that y'know she produced 17 songs for an album (and god knows how many others). Not counting how many different versions of the song she made for each track that made it. You get what you put in. She put in a lot of effort to the point that the songs come off as 'too much."

I think many of the tracks that people dislike on BTW have and had the potential to be great, but because Gaga works so quickly (and so much) that as time went by, the quality went down.

I'm not sure how much of this makes sense or is really true. It's just what comes to mind when people call this or that track as filler on BTW.

I don't know why anyone thinks HU is filler, because it's the single song that most clearly defines the sound of the entire album.

Hmm. I respect that opinion. I think the album's production could have been improved. The echos on some of the tracks could definitely be worked on.

I would say that the bonus tracks belong as bonus tracks due to the fact that they are simply songs that are more polarizing than the ones on the standard.

The production on TFM is far superior to the production found on BTW. Songs like Edge of Glory are unbearable on headphones because of the echo affect that they put on it. If theres anything I have a problem with it is the messy production.

And yes there are indeed a few fillers on the album, less then the fame but still fillers that just seem unfinished/missing something.(Black Jesus being my main complaint)

i dnt know why i never give the bonus tracks the light of day (i sued to stan for the queen but that was short lived).. but whenever they happen to come onto my ipod and i dont skip them i fall in love with them again... 1 song that i wish was just a little less produced was HML.. althouh I still love that song anyway...

Those echoes sound amazing with good headphones! I recommend everyone to burn the CD into FLAC files, the difference in sound is HUGE (for example, Hair in 320 kbps is **** while compared to its FLAC counterpart). You can do it for free on Media Go! and you retain the rights over those songs.

I have heartbeats, and I still think that the echos present a bit of a problem.

We'll see on the FLAC part, I guess.
