I've had THE EDGE OF GLORY from 'A Very Gaga Holiday' on repeat for a while... It's perfect. The vocals, the speech in the middle, the dedication, the emotion, & just EVERYTHING. The best part of the song is when she says "where we can both fall far in love... I'm on the edge of glory..." at 1:32. The little bend/rift that she does when she says "Oh, I'm on" gives me chills. She sounds better than I've ever heard her... EVER. It's brilliant.

I'm not sure I agree. She performed it a lot like YAI, and it never really had the success that YAI had (pre single era).

Similarly to Britney, at least as of right now, the general public isn't really 'here' for a Gaga 'ballad,' especially those that are rock infused. Hopefully she learns that before she creates the next album.
