Perry has become a cheerleader of sorts for the flick. A remix of her hit "The One That Got Away" is being used in a new trailer for My Week With Marilyn.
"Katy posted about it on her Twitter and Facebook and the next thing you know 250,000 people have downloaded the trailer in an hour," Weinstein said.

I doubt that she'll take up that offer, since she'll be promoting her 3rd album, but I'll be the first in line to buy a ticket if she decides to do it.

...This is going to never happen. And Michelle Williams has a upcoming movie where she plays Marilyn in 'My week with Marilyn' and I believe actress Naomi Watts is playing Marilyn in a biopic as well.
