But it's just my personal opinion. A lot of people prefer the books.
You should read the first one and see how you like it (they're not long books) and then just decide whether or not you want to continue.
I just finished Looking For Alaska by John Green.
It was alright. I think it's a bit overrated, tbh. But I enjoyed it, nonetheless.
I think I'm going to read The Scarlet Letter next because I need to read it for school. It's pretty dry so far. As much as I like gothic literature, this one isn't doing it for me. :P
