I feel for Amerie, as she is quite talented and represents asians, IMO, in the United States music industry. Is this album over for her? "1 Thing" was really popular and I liked "Touch," but it seemed to flop...= (

They don't, of course . I'm really glad I didn't put Our Lady Peace's Healthy In Paranoid Tims into my computer because I was going to burn Angels/Losing/Sleep for a mix-tape for a friend. Sure, I guess I could send for a new copy that can be put in my computer, but it just seems frivilous, as I'm sure it will be very strongly write-protected. I wonder how many they're actually exchanging since it's not like it comes with some sort of patch to take the virus of your computer?
Also, it seems strange (and telling) that a major corporation like Sony can pretty much get away with destroying people's property just because it is possible to use a computer to commit theft along with many other legal uses.

Anyway, I actually consider Amerie pretty talented in a genre I usually don't care for at all. Hopefully she can overcome all this junk continue to be one of the few voices of non-crap.

Have they fixed the problems has right now. I just bought Natasha Beingfield's cd not to long ago and it doesn't have that symbol cd protected icon on it. I'm still worried though to put it into my computer, but they might have fixed it. I hope anyway. I got a friend to send me the tracks so even then I still have them whether I put it into my computer or not. Second of all why would they put a copy protected software on the cds. We paid for the cd, but we can't take the song that we like an put it on to another cd. Not everyone likes every cd they buy. There are some cds I have that I like only 2 or 3 songs on them.
