Some of Lady Gaga's little monsters have turned into real monsters by calling Adele fat, and Gaga isn't too happy about their behavior.
There have been quite a few celebs getting bullied because of their weight recently - Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have both had to lash out against critics who have complained about the Disney stars getting a little curvier, while Kelly Osbourne won't quit talking about Christina Aguilera being fat. However, it's rather shocking that fans of Gaga have resorted to fat jokes.
After all, Mama Monster is always preaching about acceptance of other people who are being persecuted for being different. But unfortunately some of her little monsters just can't get over the fact that Adele has overtaken Lady Gaga in worldwide music sales.
The "Rolling in the Deep" singer is rolling in the dough now, but Twitter bullies simply see her as being doughy. One even tweeted this terrible joke about Adele's weight: "Confirmed: Gaga will not be wearing her meat dress because she is afraid Adele will eat it."
Of course the fat jokes have to hurt even worse for Adele right now since she's trying to recover from surgery on her vocal chords (she definitely doesn't need any added stress).
Luckily anti-bullying advocate Lady Gaga is standing up for her fellow singer. In addition to sending her well wishes to Adele as she recovers, she's stated that she won't support anyone who says anything negative about Adele. A rep for Gaga also responded to the fat jokes by stating that a small handful of Mama Monster's fans are letting her down.
So hopefully Gaga continues to lead by example - there's plenty of room in the music world for multiple talented female singers (in fact, many music lovers would probably love for more Gagas and Adeles to emerge). And who knows? Maybe Gaga will try to turn her hardcore fans into fans of Adele as well - it would be absolutely amazing if the two would collaborate together.

Sadly the "Monsters" that have caused this headline to be made in the first place just don't care.
She should publicly disown a few of them on twitter, that would not only put an end to the Adele teasing but prompt hilarious breakdowns from the stans she named and shamed
