No, like I sat there in the traffic for a bit longer, but like my momma raised me better than to be a dumbass and get out of my car and say "Hey gurl, I hit you," so when the guy didn't get out of the van, I just felt like that was God's way of saying, get the **** out of here now. Plus I am 16, just in case the guy changed his mind, I am not about to make my parents pay for anything.
Omg! I was always sooo scared to drive underaged. I couldn't do it. And thank the lord I haven't gotten in trouble with the cops either. Has the underaged driving citation affected you any now?

That's still a hit and run. When I've been hit by a car, I don't get out of the car in case the driver turns out to be a screaming maniac. I simply call the police from within my vehicle. And that girl/guy probably dialed the cops while you sat in traffic then took off. I wouldn't be surprised if they've issued a lookout for your vehicle.

Not yet and hopefully never. So what do you guys advice for those who are just starting to learn how to drive? I've been driving my dad's car for months and they still don't allow me to drive alone because they're scared that I might run over someone.

This. Girl, that's the textbook definition of hit and run. You don't get out of your car, you wait for the cops. And ZOOM, there you went.
Just you wait.

Gurl, I'ma update this ****en thread in two weeks just to tell yo ass that nothing happened, it's not even that serious, I hit the car going 10-15mph max. We were in traffic, And he started driving off once the traffic let up, so I drove away. Gurl, no biggie.

Gurl, driving is so easy, don't even worry, just be safe about it. Like, I'm a good driver, just not safe. I still haven't ever gotten pulled over or anything though! Besides this little incident, which has resulted, and will result in nothing.

I've had two car accidents. I'm not a fantastic driver, I'll admit, though none of my accidents have resulted in major damage or any injury.
But it's always very scary, particularly when the other person involved is an asshole about it. I once "bumped" into a guy with a very nice truck. It didn't cause ANY exterior damage to his car. Both he and his wife, who was very visibly pregnant, hop out of their truck, so I get out of my car to meet them and apologize. He goes ballistic! "DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID?!" I'm certain by his tone that I've caused his wife to miscarry, or something absolutely horrible. "I OUGHTA KICK YOUR ****ING ASS!" I'm absolutely terrified because this guy is as rough-and-tumble redneck as they come. He would most certainly kick my ass. "YOU MADE ME SPILL MY ****ING SODA!" And that's when I notice that the guy is covered in soft drink. And hold up! This stupid **** is only concerned because I caused him to spill his drink? He values his damn truck more than his wife? Not once did he acknowledge that she was pregnant. Not once, at least in my presence, did he ask if she was ok. Not once did he give me grief because I could have jostled the baby, or something like that. In any event, he has me cowering in fear. I apologize profusely and I turn to his wife and ask if she's alright, and she couldn't be any sweeter. She reassures me with a "Oh yeah, sweetie. I'm fine. You ain't did nothin' to our car," or something along those line. But her husband continues to protest. "NO! HE MADE ME SPILL MY SODA! GIVE ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND THEN GET THE **** OUT OF HERE!" I write down my number hand it to his wife and get the hell out of there. A week later he gives me a call asking for my address so he can send me the bill for the FULL car detail that was required after I caused him to spill his soda. "Sure. I'll pay it. Whatever."

When I was 5, my mother was picking my brother and I up from our babysitter's house. She left the car running because she only planned on being inside for a couple of minutes. I sneaked out to get a drink from the car. So I get in the driver's seat and go to grab the bag on the floor, when my torso pushes down on the shift and puts the car in neutral or reverse (I don't remember which). Mind you, the car was on top of a 15-20 foot high hill and there were large trees at the bottom. As I pop my head up and notice that the car is rolling down the hill, the passenger door is literally ripped off of the hinges by a tree and seconds later, the back of the car slams into another tree. I wasn't harmed in any way, but I was lucky because I wasn't wearing a seat belt and it could have been much worse. My mother was PISSED, though. Looking back, it was actually kind of funny.

This summer. Some guy thought it would be fun to run the red light and turn, despite my car oncoming through the intersection with a damn green light. It was on a highway and we crashed at about 55 MPH. Broke my wrist and had to take 2 weeks off of work/school. Plus my car was totaled.

I had recent accident, my dad was driving me to school, cuz I was late, and he was going really fast. Someone called him and he reached for his phone in his pocket, the stop light were red, and he didn't hit the brakes. He bumped a car of another student in my school. They talked it out.
I was late to school

Once I was driving my dad's car without telling him, I was coming back from a party with two other friends. I really can't remeber what happened, but somehow I crashed into a house.
