Obviously the Emancipation because it was Mariah's comeback from previous disaster like Glitter among other controversies of beinc called crazy. She had We Belong Tgether one of the most popular and best songs of that decade. Plus no one gave a **** about Madonna when that album came out, I don't care how much it sold. I don't remember anyone going crazy about the album like the emancipation on the other end.

Emancipation was huge in the US but COADF shat on it worldwide. WBT was a massive hit in the States, but Hung Up hit #1 in over 40 countries. There's no easy answer for this.

I say Emancipation because it was a big comeback and it remembered as one of Mariah's best eras. Confessions is my favorite album from Madge but it isn't seen as a big of a comeback as Emancipation, although that is her comeback album as well

There's no way in hell. Those receipts were taken from a review that said it sold 12M copies in the year of its release, which is clearly incorrect. On her tour DVD, it was advertised that it sold "almost 10M" WW.

MJDangerous has Confessions at 8.8m and Emancipation at 9m.
