Well, I'll never forget Britney for not including "Love is a state of grace" on Blackout .

But I think these things happen because of her Label, with Femme Fatale there's a severe division between some Risky, Interesting, great songs like: HIAM, Inside out, HIR,TTYH, Criminal, HATLM, DKMW (which could be the main interest of Britney for the album) and the commercial, generic, product songs like: TTWE, IWG, (DD) Beautiful, BFB, etc (Which clearly reflects Label interests).


So Half of Femme Fatale is Britney, the other half is Label FF = Britney/Label , 50/50

I agree, there's a lot of artists that sound more inmature than britney , Katy and Avril are almost the same age of Britney and they sound like 15 year old girls.

But I also admit that Britney could sound a bit more mature in her music, I'm not saying like Susan Boyle , but she could sound like "Confessions on a dancefloor" (Madonna) which is still fun but just a bit more mature and sophisticated, Just saying.

I've never understood why she reduces herself to sing songs with so basic and generic lyrics.

The first thing I noticed on FF was the album is great in sound, production, beats, style, vibe, etc .. which is great and makes the album enjoyable, but it completely lacks in lyrical substance which is a shame.

For her next album I want variety and more interesting lyrics and not just 12 consecutive songs about sex/parties.

You know. I can get behind this. I think Femme Fatale is, at the very least, up there with the best work she's ever done. But it would have been even better if the lyrics also took more of a center stage. The production on so many of the songs is crazy. Britney adds her awesomely unique and not easily imitated vocal stylings on each track (only Britney does "Britney" justice.) But the lyrics are just kind of "there" in some cases.

Gasoline needs to be reworked if it's single, it sounds like a demo to me.

I think the next song will be a Bloodshy track....

Criminal was reworked, but more people bought the album version. Never understood why.
