Earlier today mah man Adam Lambert announced the title of his new single and forthcoming sophomore album on his sexy Twitter account.

Dr. Luke fans (such as myself) will be happy to know that Glambert’s new tune, “Better Than I Know Myself”, was helmed by the hitmaker, with additional help from his frequent co-producers Cirkut and Ammo, while Claude Kelly handled the songwriting.


You’ll probably remember that Luke and Kelly were behind Glambert’s sleazy debut single “For Your Entertainment”, which stalled on the charts but attracted a tonne of controversy after Adam kissed that dude at the American Music Awards. I’ve always loved “For Your Entertainment (even though it hasn’t aged that well) so I can’t wait to see what “Better Than I Know Myself” will be like.

This pick came to me as a surprise cause Adam wrote and co-wrote most of this new album so I don't get why would they pick a song Claude Kelly wrote a while ago. I'm guessing it's cause they turned that old boring demo into something sick, otherwise it wouldn't be the first single (even though last time his first single was weak). Besides Claude tweeted this a while ago:

“i rarely share my studio excitement but 2day w/ @adamlambert & @EmanuelKiriakou is special indeed. we're taking creative risks. #dealwithit”

Besides R&B has always been Claude's favorite. Remember this demo of "Don't Let Me Stop You" by Clarkson?
