No, it doesn't work like that... You just can't find the average. Some reviewers have a higher weighting or importance than others... It's on a scale. So for e.g. Slant is more respected than say for eg. Sputnik, so Slant will affect the score more. Get it?

The Observer (UK) - "Talk That Talk" Review:
By: Morwenna Ferrier
Rihanna is more risqué than ever before on her sixth album, but musically it's a step backwards
Thanks in part to No 1 "We Found Love", in which Riri goes raving with Calvin Harris, the Bajan artist's sixth album sees her reborn as a nihilist romantic and lover of adult themes. While never shy of promoting her sexual liberation in the past (see "S&M", "Push up on Me"), here she's based an entire album around it. To wit: "Suck my cockiness, lick my persuasion" on the otherwise brilliant "Cockiness (Love It)". Bar this and a cameo by Jay-Z in which he giggles about Beyoncé constantly needing to pee ("Talk That Talk"), the emphasis on loud, clubby production means it lacks the progression of Rated R or the bombast of Loud.
RATING: 3/5 = 60/100

I take back what I said about this being better than Loud. It has a more cohesive sound but a lot of the tracks are mediocre at best. I dislike Loud but it had a few good tracks.

Hey Navy, so I went to Media Critic and her score is 72/100 but let's see how long it will hold up after a few more weeks, I'm hoping it at least stays at 70.

There's no specific time... But they're not going to wait like say 6 months... Some reviews come in 2 months after release and still added...

One year after her album "Loud" and of course her recent surprise appearance with L.A. Reid on X-Factor, Rihanna drops her latest album "Talk That Talk."
Rihanna has staked her name amongst some of the hardest working superstars in the business today with 3 albums over 3 years, and a constant tour schedule. This album doesn't disappoint either. It's got the beats you love to hear, the guest appearances we all love, and of course; the darling sweetheart who shocks and awes us with some of her content if you listen closely.
Easily the best song on the album is the Calvin Harris produced "We Found Love". This has a lot in common with ‘Where Have You Been’, especially with the trance beat and dubstep breakdowns but on ‘We Found Love’ the balance is perfect. Proof that Calvin Harris is a genius? Or just that Rihanna continues to know exactly how to put things together that sound good. Who knows.
MY personal favorite track is "Cockiness." The song itself is a tad repetitive, but it's some of the lyrics that really make me grin. ‘I Want You To Be My Sex Slave’ and ‘Suck My Cockiness, Lick My Persuasion’. Sure, it's a tad out there, and probably a bit on the ****ographic side, but c'mon people. Sex sells. Is it really any worse than "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me. I might be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it..."? I think not. Rihanna has always been the "sexier/edgier" version of the other female pop stars out there.
Rihanna's done it again ladies and gents. So run out and snag this gem. You won't regret it.

Drops: Rihanna's 'Talk' is another winner
Rihanna hasn't racked up 20 Top 10 hits faster than any other solo artist ever because of her voice. It's because of her ears.
No one can currently match her for hearing a musical trend and making it her own. "Talk That Talk" (Def Jam), her impressive sixth studio album in seven years, confirms it.
This time out, Rihanna takes on the new fascination -- mostly European, so far -- of dubstep, the club sound that is as much about atmospherics and melody as thudding beat. Her No. 1 smash "We Found Love" shows how the spare sound works best, but its impact is even more powerful when paired with the equally potent "Where Have You Been," which creates similar emotional peaks as "We Found Love" and should also easily top the charts.
After all, Rihanna is major enough that when she acts on her interests, radio follows her. She certainly has some new adventures planned -- from the breezy, island-tinged sing-along "You Da One" and the playful "Watch 'n' Learn" that feels like her answer to Janet Jackson's "Doesn't Really Matter." She also offers a new powerful ballad, "Farewell," that could grow into one of her signature songs.
With "Talk That Talk," Rihanna makes her mixture of experiments and surefire hits look much too easy.

The artist’s sixth album in six years is a thoroughly modern creation

Rihanna’s sixth album in six years clocks in at a trim 35 minutes. The productivity rate and lack of filler are reminiscent of an earlier pop era. But in every other respect Talk That Talk is a thoroughly modern creation.
The songs are intensely sexualised, the singer projecting an alpha-female sexuality that turns male dominance back on itself. Statements like “I’mma make you my bitch” will give older listeners an attack of the maiden-aunts, and as for the track “Cockiness” … is that really the language of courtship nowadays? Dear oh dear. But the best songs channel the forthrightness into dynamic and boldly outlined chart-pop, such as the hands-in-air euphoria of “Where Have You Been” and the xx-sampling “Drunk on Love”.

Rihanna: 'Talk That Talk' - Album review
When your album release schedule is as hectic as Rihanna's (six in six years, to be precise), most artists risk over-selling themselves to the point where even your nan is fed up of their ubiquity. While many would argue that exposure is in fact her art, you wouldn't be blamed for thinking that Talk That Talk is perhaps one RiRi album we could all do without for now.
That said, such feelings simply melt away after hearing 'We Found Love', the LP's wistful but relentless trailer. Produced by resident Scot DJ and part-time singer Calvin Harris, its touching lyrics about falling in love when you least expect it are what sets it strides apart from the plethora of generic club thumpers about the charts today. Better yet, the pair ramp up the formula a few notches further for immediate standout 'Where Have You Been'.
Thankfully, it's about as high as the BPM gets here. Opener and future single 'You Da One' is a vibrant midtempo number smothered in Caribbean spices and playground hooks ("My love is my love/ Your love is mine"), the title track sees her cooing label boss Jay-Z over a booty-bouncing riff that doffs its cap to 'Rude Boy', while the stormy 'Drunk On Love' reworks xx's 'Intro' with heart-tugging effects.
There's not nearly as much romp as is being purported, perhaps because she carries the LP's most explicit moments off with ease. "Suck my cockiness/ Lick my persuasion," she calls on 'Cockiness', before insisting: "I wanna f**k you right now" on clunky and aggressive "interlude" 'Birthday Cake'. Regardless, anyone questioning her motives need only hear ballads 'Farewell' and 'Fool in Love' to find out not only does she have a heart, but she's without doubt been putting all of it into these past six years.
4 stars of 5

Rihanna Talk That Talk album review: Ri-Ri drops a sex bomb
Since her recording career began in 2005, Rihanna, 23, has not rested. Over the course of six albums in as many years, she has grown from a sunny Barbadian teen into a mischievous, lip-licking, 20 million-selling sex bomb.
Her most explicit album to date, Talk That Talk climaxes in a no-holds-barred frenzy of cutting edge dancefloor grooves and declarations of physical desire. Fortunately routine demands such as “I want it all night /Give it to me baby” and her offer to “Show you my dirty secrets” are backed by an arsenal of spectacular beats.
Most notably, You Da One mounts a series of progressively heavier dubstep-gone-techno departures, echoing the release and elation she seeks. The title track has her stealing not just Beyoncé’s bootylicious crown but also her husband Jay-Z for a frisky exchange against sibilant drum cracks.
In Cockiness (Love It) she declares herself a dominatrix, gleefully bouncing around the padded cell of sexbeats, while Roc Me Out is a rodeo ride on a bucking bronco of synapse-snapping sonic manoeuvres and friskiness.
A deluxe version of the album offers an alternative cover and three extra tracks, including the Chase & Status-assisted Red Lipstick.
Talk That Talk is the sound of a bad girl on a winning streak and relishing every minute.
