The flash in the pan that was #2 on TV Guide's list of greatest shows of all time. It's arguably the most influential TV comedy in history.
Not running for a million seasons doesn't mean you're a flash in the pan. It's not like it's run was cut short due to cancellation or declining ratings, it went out on top. It's about knowing when to bow out gracefully, which is a lesson other shows should take not of judging by Friends subpar later seasons.
