her Check On It routine looks way too rehearsed. and Mariah cannot dance, she is famous for her singing (and tiny outfits) but not for dancing.

There is something that needs to be cleared up. An entertainer is NOT someone who can sing & dance. An entertainer is someone who entertains. Just because a singer cannot dance does not mean they cannot entertain. Some of the greatest entertainers of all time like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, and many more could not dance.

What you're asking for is the leading, multi-tasking or multi-talented R&B artists. There is a big difference you know.

For the females, I would hardly call Jennifer Lopez R&B, but since she has been in the industry the longest, she obvious has enjoyed the most success, however, it seems that anything Beyonce touches turn to gold, as all her singles have landed in the Top 5, I believe she is the strongest to reckon with currently. For the males, without a doubt, with both longetivity and overwhelming success, Usher is the original with the most success.
