I don't think he sold out. He has a lot of R&B on his albums and has a mixtape full of it. With more songs on his other mixtapes. His stuff is never as soulful as these girls' but that was never really the case.
I love listening to R&B from the heyday of the genre. But for now it's a thing of the past and I'm not really excited by R&B music that comes out these days with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions. It's just not the same
